Lesson 485: HELP FROM ABOVE (Ps. 121:7) Part 8
INTRODUCTION:
In our past studies, we have learnt that for sun to scorch one in the noon and moon by night could be another way of saying that blessings are turned to curses. As we continue tonight may the Lord bless us in Jesus Name.
1. TO KEEP IS TO TAKE AWAY CORRUPTIBLE THINGS
When the Lord keeps, He will take away corruptible and things that can destroy. These things that are taking away will never come back again. For instance, to keep in perfect peace from God, He will heal and keep infirmity and sickness far away.
Ps. 121:7, I Pet. 2:24,Ps.107: 20, Ex. 15:26, IIKings 4:1-7, Ps. 91:1-4, Ps.27:5, Prov.11: 8.
2. THE RIGHTEOUS WILL NOT TASTE SUFFERING
Of a truth, the Lord will keep the righteous from severe suffering. As He did for Noah, Lot, Israel and Jesus; He will do likewise for those separated unto Him.
Luke. 17:26-27, Luke. 17:28-30, Mt. 2:13-16, Ex.12:21-23, Rev. 7:1-3, Luke. 16:19-26.
