Lesson 118: God The Holy Spirit – Part 22

INTRODUCTION:Whenever the Holy Spirit moves, there is joy, miracles and angelic visitations. The angels are around to minister to us children of God and heirs of salvation. We want to go further in our study of what happens when the Holy Spirit is manifesting. We give glory to God for His previous manifestations in our midst.

1. WHENEVER THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN MANIFESTATION THERE WILL BE VISIONS
Man has two sets of eyes: Physical and Spiritual. Things spiritual are seen with spiritual eyes, which is why it is the Holy Spirit that can enable you to see visions of heavenly and divine things. For example, Paul the Apostle, a man full of the Holy Spirit saw plenty of visions, which kept him going strong in the Christian way despite severe difficulties. What you fix your eyes on can have tremendous impact on your life. For example, looking backward arrests progress; looking at difficulties brings depression; looking at Jesus Christ brings salvation and hope and looking heaven ward brings glory. It is those with pure hearts that will have the greatest vision of all: they shall see God and behold His face in glory.

2. WITHOUT VISIONS THERE WILL BE NO PROGRESS
God promised that Holy Spirit filled young men would see visions. This is because without visions there will be no progress and where there is no progress, destruction will result. The samples of Moses, Jacob, Abraham, Joseph, etc., shows clearly that those who will become great must have great visions. They must see what others cannot see. They must see and fasten their eyes on “The Invisible One”. May God opens our eyes today. Amen.
