Lesson 219: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY PART 11

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of the series, we saw how no one can be compared to our God in holiness, power, strength, faithfulness and mercy. We also saw how quickly the children of Israel forgot His power to deliver when they thirsted for 3 days, and how He turned their bitter watered to sweet. In this part of this series, we want to study Chapter 16 of Exodus, the Chapter that introduces us to “Manna”. May the Lord Bless us mightily as we study in Jesus Name. Amen.

DISOBEDIENCE CAN TURN MANNA TO WORMS

Murmuring is a very dangerous thing: it is an invitation to destruction. If you ever have the temptation to backslide because of the pleasures of the world that you use to “enjoy” before you were born again, please remember that the pleasure of this world never satisfies. The Lord is always full of compassion on humans because He knows we are but flesh but disobedience can bring a curse from God and turn one’s manna to worms. Moreover, destruction is the rewards for over coming the world.
