Lesson 222: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY PART 14

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw that those who could become favourites of the Lord are not Jews only. Gentiles too are welcome, provided they are willing to live a life of entire consecration and holiness unto the Lord. Now, we want to begin a study of the ten commandments that God gave to His people through His servant, Moses, may the Lord bless us richly as we study at his feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. ONE MAN ONE WIFE IMPLIES ONE GOD ONE PEOPLE

As a prelude to giving the Ten Commandments to His people, the Almighty God stressed the need for such a code of conduct. He made it clear that He is not only their God but also their Lord and Redeemer from bondage. That He loved them and would want to be their husband. Consequently, He would not share them with any gods, whatsoever, He is still saying the same today to all of us who are the redeemer of the Lord.
