Lesson 223: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY PART 15

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw God introduced the Ten Commandments to the children of Israel. He made it clear that the reason he redeemed them was because he loved them and would want to marry them. Furthermore, He stated that He would not want to share His wife with anyone. Today, as we continue our studies of the Ten Commandments. We pray that God will grant us the grace to be totally committed to Him in Jesus Name. Amen.

TWO OF THE NAMES OF GOD ARE LOVE AND JEALOUS

There are several reasons why God forbid the making of graven images and their worship. Some of which are (i) Man is the greatest of all God’s creations, (ii) it is disgraceful to worship someone who is inferior to you and cannot help you in any way, (iii) it will be a disgrace to God if His wife is being tampered with by an inferior creature (iv) Because there is no true love without jealously, God, whose Names are LOVE and JEALOUS, knows how to deal with an unfaithful wife (v) He also knows how to compensate a faithful wife and (vi) Why should you look at what you are forbidden to associate with anyway?
