Lesson 224: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY PART 16
INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw some of the reasons why God forbids us to worship idols, demons angles or any other of His creatures. This is primarily because we are superior to all other creatures of God and it will debase us and disgraces Him to bow down to these inferior beings. Today, we want to continue our studies as we examine the remaining commandments of God. May the Lord bless us as we study in Jesus Name. Amen.
GOD IS NEVER TIRED: BUT YOU NEED REST AFTER HARD WORK
As children of God, we must speak the truth and only the truth always. Also, God expects us to work hard six days in the week and rest on the seventh day, so that He, who never tired can have us to Himself for at least one day in the week. Hard work is profitable and rest is necessary too. We are to honour our Parents for several reasons. Some of these are the facts that they are representatives of God, particularly if they are born again: and also we will be parents one day and we shall reap whatever we sow. The other commandments could be summed as “Love your neighbour like yourself” or “Do unto others as you will want them to do unto you”.
