Lesson 225: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY PART 17

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw that the basic motive of God in giving us the Ten Commandments is love. For example, if we honour our parents, we will live long, have children of our own and these children will in turn honour us. Today, we wish to move ahead to anther important milestone in the life of Moses, when he became so discouraged he asked God to kill him. May we learn useful lessons from this incident in Jesus Name. Amen.

HOW LONG YOU LIVE IS DETERMINED BY YOU

In every congregation, there are all kinds of people. There are those who are going to heaven, there are those who interested in Jesus for material gains only and there are those who want to drag others back into the world. It is the duty of every individual to ensure that he/she does not get into any closed association with the agents of the devil. One way by ‘ which you can identify these agents of the devil is their ingratitude to God. They are never content. They will also tend to discourage others by their actions. Whenever you feel discouraged, do not forget that God is still on your side and He is on His throne. The Bible is also specific on the fact that your relationship with God will determine your length of life.
