Lesson 228: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY – PART 19

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we studied the reports of the 12 spies and how those who said that it was impossible to posses the land failed to reach the land; whereas those who said that it could be done made it. Today, we want to study an incident in the life of Moses as recorded in Num. 16. May he Lord bless us tremendously as we study, in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. DO NOT BE A REBEL: IT IS A DANGEROUS THING TO BE

Plotting never gives birth to any good thing. Never join in any plot, particularly against man of God. It could lead to strange and sudden deaths for the plotters and their innocent children.

2. NEVER QUERY GOD: HE IS A RIGHTEOUS JUDGE

You must never query God, particularly when He hands down judgement to sinner. Remember that He is the righteous judge. Moreover, He is the potter and we are the clay.

3. ANOINTED MEN OF GOD ARE MEN OF DESTINY: THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS PREFERABLE TO THEIR ENMITY

Spiritual leaders that are chosen by God Himself are men of destiny. Many times, they are already chosen by God even before birth to be His representatives. Because God gives them tremendous backing, if you find favours with them, you should rejoice and watch out if they are displeased with you and the anger of God or bestow a blessing and stand between you and the anger of God or pronounce a curse.
