Lesson 230: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY – PART 21
INTRODUCTION:
In the previous part of this series, we saw how Moses made a terrible mistake that led to his exclusion from the Promised Land. Shortly after that incident, Aaron died as God said he would, Num. 20:28-29, and Moses, deep in sorrow, was waiting for his own end. Then the children of Israel started complaining about food again. What happened next is the subject of our study tonight. May the Lord teach us Himself in Jesus Name. Amen.
1. DISCONTENT CAN BE DEADLY
The people began to complain again that they had only manna to eat. They were not content with the provisions of God. Moses said nothing at all and God moved in. Many people died as fiery serpents went to work on them. Discontent can lead to death and when a leader stops praying, his followers are in for trouble.
Num. 21:4-5; Pr. 15:16; I Tim. 6:6-8; Heb. 13:5; Matt. 5:13,
2. THE DEVIL HAS USES IN THE HANDS OF A MERCIFUL GOD
When a little child offends, his father cannot box him, or else he will be killed. So the fathers use a rod. God is our Father and when we sin, He has to use His rod too. It is note worthy however, that only those who sinned will be punished directly. When people repent however, God shows His mercy again.

3. ALL YOU NEED TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS ARE REPENTANCE AND FAITH
When the people looked in faith on the brass serpent, they got their healings. All you ever need has been provided for in the uplifted Jesus, the Burden bearer. But you will need to present all your sins and by faith look unto Jesus and claim your victory.
