Lesson 231: MOSES, A MAN OF DESTINY – PART 22

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw how Moses lifted up the brazen serpent to produce healing for those who were bitten by the fiery serpent. From which it follows, according to the Lord Himself; that whenever Jesus Christ is lifted up, there will be salvation, healing, deliverance and miracles. In this concluding part of our series, we examine the last days of Moses, a friend of God who failed to enter the Promised land. Many the Lords touch us today as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. SEEING AND ENTERING THE KINGDON OF GOD ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS
Moses saw the Promised land but did not enter in. The Lord Jesus, in speaking to Nicodemus, also made a distinction between seeing the kingdom of God and entering into it. There is a lot involved between being born again and entering into the rest of the Almighty. For example, there is the need for water baptism, Holy Spirit baptism and Holy living.

2. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE SICK TO DIE.
Moses laid his hand on Joshua to transfer his spirit onto him. Beware who lays his hand on you. If you are doing the will of God, you do not need to be sick or feeble ever again. You can remain vigorous till death, like Moses.

3. IF YOU WANT TO REACH YOUR GOALON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN, LOVE GOD AND BEWARE OF ANGER.

Moses failed to reach his goal on earth because of anger, but he still end up in heaven because he loved God and His people passionately. You can reach both your goal on earth and make heaven your home as well if you love God and stay clear of anger. The only way to show that you love God is by loving His people and winning them to Christ.
