Lesson 234: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 1

INTRODUCTION:
Apart from the letters to the churches, the message of the book of revelation is basically two-fold: (i) All will well, (ii) it will get worse before it get better: The book talk about the age to come as well as the passing away of the present age. The age to come as well as the passing away of the present age must give birth to the next. Consequently, there must be a period of labour pains. May the Lord bless us richly as we study this important Book of the Bible in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. ALL WILL BE WELL

In the age to come, all will be well. Some of the blessings of age to come are (i) the world will be amazingly fertile (ii) All wars will cease, (iii) No more enmity between man and beast or beast and beast (iv) No more weariness, sorrow and pains (v) No more untimely death.

2. IT WILL BE WORSE BEFORE GETTING BETTER

The coming of the Messianic age will be like the agony of birth. The last days of this age will be time of terror, when the world and the universe also will be in a great turmoil. It will be time of hatred among human beings and a time of judgement of God on man. But you do not have to go through the attribution. You can go in the rapture if you choose.
