Lesson 236: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 3

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series on the Book of Revelation, we saw that this is the Book that brings greeting and blessing from the trinity to its readers, hearers and doers. It also gave us a beautiful description of our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. Today, we want to continue our study of this wonderful Book as we look as Rev. 1:7-11 in some details. May the Lord bless us as we study in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. WHEN JESUS RETURNS, HE WILL NOT RETURN ALONE

The Bible says that he will come with clouds, not in the cloud. The clouds will be the saints who are returning with Him in glory. All eyes shall see Him when He is returning to reign for a thousand years. He will be the same Jesus, not a different one, but a king now and not a servant, the Almighty not a weak mortal.

2. THROUGH PATIENT ENDURANCE, WE SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM
John introduced himself as a companion in tribulations, kingdom and patience of Christ. This is a very significant introduction. It sums up the journey of a Christians to the kingdom of God in 3 words; trials, endurance and patience. But if we stick to God and are guided by His word, it is certain we shall make it in Jesus Name. Amen.
