Lesson 237: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 4

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part in this series on the Book of Revelation we learnt that the cloud referred to as accompanying the Lord Jesus Christ are the saints returning with their captain. We also learnt further that those who will enter His kingdom must patiently endure trails and tribulations. Today, we wish to study the vision of the great revelation. May the Lord bless us richly as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. CHRIST IS THE PROPHET, THE HIGH PRIEST AND THE KING OF KINGS

The way the glorified Christ was dressed in the vision that John saw tells us 3 things about Him: (i) He is the divine messenger (ii) He is the High priest of God and (iii) He is the King of Kings. These imply that not only does He bring the truth of God to man, He also makes available to man an access to God and an opportunity to reign with Him forever.

2. WHEN THE GLORY OF GOD COMES DOWN, MEN PASTORATE

The description of the glorifies Christ confirm three major things: (i) He is the same God the father (ii) He is a wonderful friends to have and (iii) he can be a terrible Enemy too. Also, when God appears in His full glory, no man can stand upright before Him.
