Lesson 243: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 10
INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw how a church could be full of activities and yet be dead. We also saw the need to be watchful all the time if we are to go with Christ at His return. Today, we want to study the letter to the church in Philadelphia. May the Lord bless us again tremendously in Jesus Name. Amen.
1. JESUS IS THE DOOR TO THIS FATHER’S KINGDOM
When all the churches in Asia Minor fell to the invading Mohammedans, the church in Philadelphia stood firm and up till now there is a Church with thousands of member in Philadephia. The secret of the Church is its love for evangelism and missions, which is why the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Door, set before them an open door of opportunities till this day.

2. THE FAITHFUL CHURCH WILL INHERIT ALL THE PROMISES THAT GOD PREVIOUSLY MADE TO
The Church is now the Israel of God, the proper childrens of Abraham. Consequently, all the precious promises formerly made unto Abraham now belong to the true and faithful Christian. But we must hold on fast to Christ and His principles if we are not to be losers in the end.
