Lesson 246: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 12

INTRODUCTION:
In first three chapter’s of the Book of Revelation, we were introduced to the glorified Christ as well as the letters to seven typical churches. Now in the forth chapter, we go into an entirely different realm of revelation. May the Lord quicken our understanding as we study at his feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. WHEN A MAN’S SOUL SEEKS UPWARDS, THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESCENDS TO MEET HIM

There are three doors in the early chapters of the Book of Revelation: (i) the door of opportunity, (ii) the door of choice and (iii) the door of heavenly revelation. Whenever a man’s soul seeks upwards, the spirit of God descends to meet him to reveal to him supernatural sights and sounds.

2. THERE CAN BE NO CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT TOTAL SUBMISSION

While on earth could be storms in our sea of life but once we arrive in the presence of our Maker, there will be no more storms. Which is only one of the reasons why, in total submission we should be praising our Saviour continually.
