Lesson 247: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 13

INTRODUCTION:
Last week we saw that as from Rev. 4, the scene had shifted to heaven. Today, as we study Rev. 5, the scene is still in heaven and the one who is the focus of all History, Jesus Christ, steps on the scene. May the Lord bless us tremendously as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. THERE IS A LAMB THAT IS ALSO THE LION

Jesus Christ is the Judah, the Root of David as well as the Lamb of God, He is meek and yet strong, gentle yet mighty, humiliated in death but glorified in resurrection. He is the only one qualified to know God’s secrets, with the priviledge to reveal such secrets and the absolute control over the things that shall be.

2. THE PRAYERS OF SAINTS ARE TURNED TO INCENSE IN HEAVEN.

While the elders, the living beings and all creatures in entire universe will one day sing a mighty anthem to the Lamb that was slain, meanwhile the prayers of saints are being stored as incense in golden vials in heaven, How much of this supernatural incense in golden vials in heaven, how much of this supernatural incense is yours?
