Lesson 260: THE BOOK OF REVELATION – PART 25: REV. 16

INTRODUCTION:
In Rev. 15, we saw the saints in heaven praising God with the songs of Moses and the Lamb. But now in Rev. 16. the scene shifts back to the earth as the final horrors of the tribulation period follow fast one after the others. May the Lord teach us tonight in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. THE DAY IS COMING WHEN THE SUN WILL BURN LIKE OVEN

The sixteenth chapter of the book of revelation shows clearly that a day is coming when the inhabitants of the earth will be covered with painful and incurable sores. Soon after, there will be no water to drink at all and yet the sun’s heart will burn like an oven. It will be like a man lost in a waterless desert.

2. THE DAY IS COMING WHEN MEN WILL BITE THEIR TONGUES FOR PAIN.

After the period of intense heart, there will be a period of total darkness, such as was in the time of Moses. Men will be in such an agony they will bite their tongue for pain. But despite of all these suffering, those who will not repent will not.
