Lesson 275: THE FLOOD SURVIVORS A TYPE OF THE CHURCH

INTRODUCTION:
Noah and those who were saved with him in the ark are remarkably typical of Christian believers and of the church as a whole in seven outstanding ways, may the Lord teach us today and bless us tremendously as we study at His feet in Jesus name. Amen.

1. BELIEVERS SEVEN OUTSTANDING WAYS

The conversation in which they were chosen to salvation was made before the flood; the ark was entered in response to a divine call. Noah believed God with his family, the ark that effected, salvation also involved separation, and the Lord shut him in. The higher the flood prevailed the more the ark rose above it, when the guilty world was beneath the flood of judgement and death, those in the ark were risen above it and were alive, they not only survived the flood, they became the possessors of a new world.
