Lesson 284: ELISHA: A STUDY IN DOUBLE PORTION OF ANOINTING –PART  3, II KINGS 2:13-25

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw the qualifications of those who can receive the double anointing and how to receive it. As we know continue with our study of Elisha, we begin to see how to use the double anointing, may the Lord bless us as we study at His feet in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. THE DOUBLE ANOINTING CAN WORK FOR THE ONE WHO HAS IT AS WELL AS OTHERS

The first miracle that Elisha performed with his double anointing was to cross-river Jordan. By so doing, he removed the major obstacle to his progress and ministry; next he went on to help the people of Jericho to remove the curse that had been placed on their city long ago. Next, he silenced forever those who dared to mock him. From these three miracles, it is clear that the double anointing can work for the one who has it as well as for others in deed.
