Lesson 289: ELISHA: A STUDY IN DOUBLE ANOINTING – PART 5

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw that anger can low the fuse of the anointed, that preparations must precede blessings and that anointing works silently to produce miracles. Today, as we continue with the series, may the Lord reveal more to us for our blessings in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. WHEN ANOINTING SOLVES A PROBLEM IT IS PER MANENTLY SOLVED

In the story under consideration today, there are many points of interest. Some of which are: (i) the anointing breaks the yoke of poverty and the debt (ii) the anointing delivers from bondage generally (iii) most of the times the anointed requires material things to produce material miracles. (iv) anointing can be limited by the extent obedience of the one being helped and (v) when anointing solves a problem it is permanently solved.

2. THOSE WHO NEED THE HELP OF THE ANOINTING MUST PLAY THEIR PARTS TOO.

Before the physician can be of much use to the patient, the patient must cooperate with the physician. Those who need the help of the anointed must play their parts too through (i) a distinct request for help (ii) obedience and (iii) willingness to use what they have to obtain what they need.
