Lesson 290: WHAT CHRIT IS MADE TO BELIEVERS

INTRODUCTION:
Our Lord Jesus Christ is made unto us Wisdom, (righteousness) i.e. Justification, Sanctification and Redemption, may the Lord open our understanding and bless us richly as we study at His feet in Jesus most precious. Amen.

1. WISDOM OF GOD

Christ is the Wisdom of God He is able to remove the earthly wisdom. We are not wise unit we have this wisdom.

2. JUSTIFICATION AND SANCTIFICATION

Justification affects our state as sinner, sanctification affects our character as defiled, Justification is effected at once, sanctification is progressive work, which begins with our regenerated and only ends in glory. The anointing blood which he shed is not only the ground of our pardon but is the medium of our purification.

3. REDEMPTION

This obviously relates to the resurrection of the body and glorification of body and soul in heaven.
