Lesson 329: THE SOUL IS ETERNAL

INTRODUCTION:
The soul is eternal and shall never, never die, the real us is our soul (i.e.). Man is an eternal being, that will live forever either in hell or in God’s presence for ever and ever. May the Lord teach us today as we study at His feet in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

1. BODY OR THE OUTWARD MAN MORTAL

The outward-man is mortal. It was made out of the dust, given natural food to sustain it, and natural work to perform, also matrimony was instituted Rom. 8:11; Gen. 2:7; Gen. 3:19; Gen. 1:29; Gen. 2:15; Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:5; The body is our earthly house.

2. SOUL OR THE INWARD IMMORTAL

We shall be like angels after the resurrection no marriage, no death; out inward man is renewed day by day, no body can kill the soul, the soul of the ancient prophetess are still living I Cor. 15:53; Luke 20:35-36; II Cor. 4:16; Rom. 12:2; Matt. 10:28; James 4:12; Matt. 22:32; Deut. 34:5-16; Matt. 17:1-3; Acts 7:59; II Cor. 5:8; John 17:24. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, there is punishment from the souls that sinneth. Ezekiel 18:4; Luke 16:23-31; Eccl. 12:7; John 5:24-29.
