Lesson 336: STUDIES IN ACTS PART 10

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw that Christianity is a religion of the heart and not of the intellect. We also saw that genuine Christians have certain peculiar characteristics. Today we want to see the Holy Spirit begin actions in a new dimension in the lives of the Apostles. May He begin actions in our own lives too in Jesus name. Amen.

1. ALL THE BEAUTIES OF GOD ARE REVEALED IN HIS HOUSE
No matter how poor a church building may be, if God’s presence is there, it will be beautiful. The lame man, sitting outside the beautiful gate of the church is a type of the miseries of a sinner the goodness of the Almighty Saviour. Acts 3:1-6; Luke 4:16; Ps. 122:1; Col. 1:16-17; Rev. 21:21-22; James 2:;14-18; Ps. 51:5; Eccl. 2:26; Isa. 59:1-2; Isa. 57:20-21.

2. IF YOU HAVE JESUS, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING
Peter told the beggar that he had neither silver nor gold. But surely he had something far more precious than gold. If you have Jesus, what else can you ever need? Matt. 6:31-34; Ps. 23:1; Isa. 45:22; John 3:14-15; Ph. 4:19.
