Lesson 363: JOSEPH: A STUDY IN DIVINE FAITHFULNESS – PART 8

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we saw that adultery is a sin against at least three parties: God, yourself and your neighbour. We also saw that there is a way out of every trial and temptation. Today as we continue our study, may God bless us richly in Jesus Name. Amen.

1. ADULTERERS AND FORNICATOR ARE DOUBLE KILLERS.
The devilish woman, like all adulterers, when she discovered that she had failed to get the soul of Joseph, she tried to get his body destroyed Pro. 6:23-26. Adulterers are automatic liars and double-killers. Stay away from them. And never you lie against your neighbour. Gen. 39:13-23; Pro. 23:26-28; Pro. 30:20; Pro. 26:28; I John 4:20-21; I John 4:8; John 17:3.

2. THERE IS A WAY OUT OF EVERY PROBLEM
God always provides a way out of every trial and temptation. I Cor. 10:13; I Cor. 6:18; II Tim. 2:22; Gen. 19:15-22; I Cor. 3:16-17; Pro. 22:14; Heb. 2:18. In the case of Joseph, the only way out was to flee when he was cornered by the enemy Jan. 1:12. There is a time for prayers and there is a time for action, too.
