Lesson 373: JOSEPH: A STUDY IN DIVINE FAITHFULNESS – PART 14

INTRODUCTION:
\In the last part of this series we saw how the dream of Joseph are gradually moving toward fulfillment with his brothers coming to bow down to him. As we continue our study today, may God bless us richly in Jesus name. Amen.

1. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TROUBLE, CONTROL YOUR TONGUE.
It was the talkativeness of Joseph’s brother that led them deeper into trouble Prov. 21:23. It is age-old law: if you do not want trouble in life, keep your words few: control your tongue always. A wholesome tongues is a tree of life! Gen. 43; Luke 19:22; Pro. 15:4; James 1:26.

2. NOT ALL HUNGER IS BAD: THERE IS A GOOD HUNGER:
It was a bad hunger that caused Jacob to release his favourite son to an uncertain future matt. 5:6; Jere. 29:13; Ps. 42:1; Amos 8:11; I Cor. 14:39; John 14:12.
But not all hunger is bad. To hunger after God and thing of God is a good thing indeed.
