Lesson 380: RESISTING THE HOLY GHOST
INTRODUCTION:
We are in the sixth dispensation; this is the time of grace and the Holy Ghost. God communicates to us through the Holy Spirit. It will be wrong of us to disobey our Teacher and our standby. May the Lord bless us richly as we study at His Feet in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
1. CAUSES FOR RESISTNG THE HOLY GHOST
Refusing to yield to corrections and reproved, uncircumcised in heart and ears I Pet. 5:6. Pride is the demon responsible for resisting the Holy Ghost. Selfishness is another open door for the devil. Acts 7:51; Exo. 32:7-10; Pro. 29:1; Lev. 26:41-42; II Chr. 12:6-7; Pro. 16:18; Obadia. 3 Deut. 10: 16-17; Phillip. 3:3; Jer. 4:4; Act. 5:3-5; Luke 22:2-4.
