Lesson 418: THE WORD OF GOD (Jer.20:9) Part 3

INTRODUCTION:
We have considered the Word of God as a mirror that has the power to reveal to us how we are. We have equally seen it as a double edged sword for healing, deliverance and the one that reveals hidden sins. Today, as we look at the study as fire, I pray you will be richly blessed in Jesus Name.

1. WORD, AS FIRE, IT IS NOT ONLY PERFECT, IT MAKES PERFECT
The word of God is perfect. Every part of it is perfect; nothing unholy comes out from God. This accounts for why it is powerful to make perfect. It cleanses and it makes holy. Everyone desiring to serve God needs to be made perfect in His fire.

2. FIRE CONSUMES
The word of God as fire has the power to consume, it should not be taken lightly likewise it can turn kerosene into fire so that anyone who stays long in the fire of the word will be like the word itself.
