Lesson 493: JESUS IS THE WAY (Col.3:1-17) Part 6

INTRODUCTION:
In the last part of this series, we studied the Way to Peace. As we continue this study, we would be examining the Way to Escape. We pray that God would bless us as we study under His feet in Jesus name, Amen.

1. The Way to Escape
Jesus is the way to escape the wrath, indignation, anger or terror of God and then go to glory -Matt.3:7-10, Amos 5:18-19. Our God is Omnipresent. He is everywhere. His eyes runs to and fro. II Chro.16:9. No man can hide from Him Ps.139:1-12, Prov.11:21Amos 9.2. –

2. Escape From what to what?
1). Escape from death unto life -Deut.30:15, 19, John 5:24
2) Escape from God’s wrath to God’s favour -Neh.1:2, Isa.13:9 Rom.1:18, 2:8, Heb.10:27, John 3:36
3) Escape from the shame or ridicle of sinners to God royal welcome Mat.25:34.
4) Escape from the tribulation below to the marriage supper of the Lamb above Rev.19:7-9; 3:10.
5) Escape from the everlasting punishment to God’s presence above -Rev.3: 21; II Thess.1:9
6) Escape from hell fire (Rev:.2O:15) to Heaven Rev.3:4.
7) Escape from the famine coming upon the earth to the eating of the hidden manner above -Rev.2: 17
8) Escape from mortal, corruptible body to an immortal, incorruptible body above – Cor.16: 57)
