LESSON TEXT-2 Corinthians 11:22-28
INTRODUCTION
Commitment is defined as the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity. It is a decision to do what needs to be done, whatever the cost. It requires a willingness to sacrifice as an expression of devotion to a person or a cause. Some synonyms of commitment are dedication, devotion, allegiance, loyalty and faithfulness. It is often said that if a person does not stand for something then he/she will fall for anything. The things we are committed to are the things we ‘stand for’. A committed person has a burning, impulsive, self-motivated desire to do something about the subject of his/her commitment. May the Holy Spirit teach us and help us as we study this topic
